I know the new buzz term is "Level Up"... but I'm old school so I still say "Step Up Your Game !"
A small part of who you are
reflects on the type of men that you attract.
Do you see similarities in the men that you’re attracting? Are you tired of the same old song and
dance…he’s dreaming big dreams but never does anything to make them come true. He’s perfectly content wallowing in his
mediocrity? What about you? How do you
measure up?
We just can’t expect the men to
bring a good career, stable finances and good credit to the table. We need to
bring that much plus more as well, instead of focusing on snagging him and
planning our lives as his wife. Times
have changed and so have men. Today most men look for more progression in a
woman; someone who they can build with, not completely provide for. Any man that’s truly sincere would want to
admire his woman’s accomplishments; good men want a partner. This dynamic takes a lot of pressure off the
two of you and frees up emotional space for a more stress free and effortless
romance.
I once heard a fitness trainer say
that insanity is doing the same thing over and over and expecting different
results. If you’re still approaching relationships the same way, and expecting
to meet a different kind of guy; stop spinning your wheels. Save your energy and step up your game. If
you want your life to be different across the board, you’re going to have to
make some changes. When I say step up your game, it isn’t all for the sake of
finding a better man. This is relevant for friendships, career endeavors, fitness
journeys… anything you’re trying to accomplish.
You’ll find that when you’re
feeling a sense of accomplishment, your self esteem rises; a whole array of
blessings come your way and men follow, as a matter of fact, they’ll flock to
you. Men love a woman with a confident swagger.
Think about making conscious
changes and turning yourself into the female version of the kind of man you
would like to meet…It might sound kind of weird, but once you try it you’ll see
that it makes perfect sense. Here are some ways that can start you off:
- Change your social settings and be open to going to
places that you’ve never been before.
- If you’ve wanted to continue your education, than do
so. Try to surround yourself with
like minded people.
- If your finances need a makeover then take serious
steps towards financial freedom.
- Improving relations with friends and family always
help one to focus on what’s important in life.
- Promote a more positive self image…improve eating
habits, exercise and make time to pamper yourself.
- Tap into your creativity…you never know, it can turn
into a new side hustle.
It’s human nature to want to
improve and upgrade yourself and once you’ve stepped up your game…you will see different results.
